Drummer Larnell Lewis and award winning steel pannist Joy Lapps were just some of the talented gospel musicians who joined Toronto Mass Choir onstage in an inspirational performance at the Malvern Christian Assembly.

“It was an amazing night, absolutely thrilling,” says Karen Burke, president of Toronto Mass Choir and a former choir director for the Malvern Christian Assembly. “Malvern Christian Assembly has a real outreach into the Malvern area, a lively youth programme and a quality music department led by Jackie Cherian, another former member of the Toronto Mass Choir. In many ways, it felt like I was going back home and it was wonderful to be enjoying the music and celebrating the Lord together.”
Other artists that joined Toronto Mass Choir were:
Joy Brown – co-producer of ‘Going Home’ album
Dave Brown – well known gospel trumpet player
Nordene – Micah Recording artist
Jermaine Cowan – urban reggae artist

The Malvern Christian Assembly and Toronto Mass Choir, who have enjoyed a fifteen year relationship, decided to team up for this amazing event.  Malvern has been the home of two of the CD release concerts that TMC has had.
