Juno and Covenant Award-Winning Toronto Mass Choir Releases 10th Album,
Made for Worship-Special Edition with Media & VIP Event on October 1, 2015
September 2, 2015 (Toronto, ON) – On September 15, 2015, Juno award-winning Toronto Mass Choir (TMC) will release a special edition of their tenth full-length, live worship album, Made for Worship. To launch their tenth album release, the ground-breaking choir is hosting a special media and VIP event on October 1, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. the Gospel Café in Mississauga, ON.
The event will be a musical treat, with the full choir performing songs from the Made for Worship album and showcasing new arrangements set in a variety of musical genres from jazz to reggae to foot-stomping gospel, embracing what the choir is best known for — bringing an attitude of worship to every performance.
“Our hope is that this new CD and event would act as a celebration of God’s faithfulness over the past 27 years,” said Burke. “Many people who have witnessed an appearance by the choir often tell us of a powerful, uplifting experience. Our goal continues to be that everyone will remember where that great power comes from, and because of Him, the commitments that we have made as an organization.”
Made for Worship is a radio-friendly version of the choir’s Covenant award- winning limited edition CD/DVD combo which released May 2014. This new edition features guest appearances by popular Canadian gospel artists such as Amoy Levy, Peter Moncrieffe and Richard Brown. The CD contains radio mixes, a special bonus track and brand new, original content supported by some of Canada’s finest musicians such as Larnell Lewis (Snarky Puppy) on the drums.
